【About Air conditioners】

We would like to inform you of the operation status of the air conditioning system of the museum.
We have been operating in [heating] mode since October 30, 2025.
The air conditioning of all rooms in the hotel is centrally controlled,
We are unable to switch to cooling/heating for each room.
We do have a limited number of these,
If it is cold: Blankets or heaters
If it is hot, we can lend you a fan or a cooler.
Please feel free to ask our staff for these items.
Please note that the air conditioning may be switched on a moment's notice depending on outside temperatures and other factors.

Stalls sell everything from barrels of tsukemono (pickled vegetables) and cute Japanese sweets to wasabi salt and fresh sashimi.

The veranda of the main hall juts out over the hillside, supported by 13-meter-high wooden columns. You can also enjoy shopping along a path to the temple.

-Fushimi Inari-taisha Shrine: 25 minutes by train
Thousands of vermilion torii (shrine gates) makes sacred atomosphere.
One of the most impressive and memorable sights in Kyoto.

-Arashiyama: 35 minutes by train
Seemingly endless bamboo forest is the best place for relaxing in the nature. When sunlights shines through the trees, it seems a magical place.

-Kinkaku-ji: 50 minutes by bus
Completely covered by brilliant gold leaf. This shiny and sparkling temple reflects in a pond, which is truely spectacular.

-Is the air conditioning adjustable in the room?
Air-Conditioning is centralized and temperature cannot be regulated.
Switching between cooling and heating depends on season and outside temperature.
For more information, please do not hesitate to contact us.

-Do you serve a welcome drink after check-in?
Spring water is prepared as a welcome drink at the lobby.
Please feel free to take them with you upon your arrival (1 for each guest).

-Is there a safety box in the room?
No. However, we can keep your belongings at the front desk within the safety bag.

-How often are the rooms cleaned?
Considering the environment, daily cleaning will be done by using the same bed linens.
Besides, for hygienic reasons, bed linens will be changed once every three days.
